We are looking for –

To drive the development of next-generation reasoning and code-generation agents that push the frontiers of artificial intelligence. You will lead cutting-edge research across data, model architectures, objectives, and optimization techniques – advancing scalable, verifiable, and high-performance AI systems.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in AI and reinforcement learning,
  • Prototype and validate new approaches to reinforcement learning, inference algorithms, and novel model architectures
  • Analyze and overcome performance and scalability challenges in large-scale distributed training
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring research breakthroughs into production environments

What you’ll bring

  • MSc or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Algorithms, Theoretical Computer Science, or Mathematics
  • Strong background in high-performance software development (Python, C++, or equivalent)
  • Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals – including optimization, probability, statistics, and linear algebra
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and evaluating ML models or algorithms
  • Ability to translate theoretical insights into scalable, production-grade systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a creative and rigorous research mindset

Bonus points for

  • Experience scaling large models, including mixture-of-experts (MoE) models.
  • Familiarity with distributed training and inference frameworks
  • Research or implementation experience in reinforcement learning (RL), especially with verifiable or interpretable rewards
  • Strong publication record or demonstrable research contributions

To lead the design and optimization of state-of-the-art GPU kernels powering advanced deep learning applications and large-scale workloads.

What you’ll do

  • You will drive cutting edge GPU kernel development and optimization across diverse, high-impact use cases.
  • You’ll work at the intersection of hardware and algorithms – accelerating complex workloads and shaping the future of high-performance AI computation.
  • Design, implement, and optimize GPU kernels for diverse deep learning workloads
  • Collaborate with research and engineering teams to deliver state-of-the-art performance on modern GPU architectures
  • Profile, debug, and fine-tune large-scale training and inference pipelines
    Stay ahead of the curve on GPU trends and emerging CUDA technologies

What you bring

  • Proven experience in GPU programming and parallel computing
  • Hands-on experience in GPU kernel development for deep learning workloads (within the past 3 years)
  • Strong understanding of modern GPU architectures – particularly Invidia Blackwell (B200) OR Hopper (H100)
  • Familiarity with CUTLASS (Cuda framework)
  • Proficiency with GPU profiling, debugging, and performance optimization tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Bonus points for

  • Experience optimizing large-scale workloads
  • Familiarity with Torch
  • Familiarity with modern CUDA frameworks ( CuTe, CUB)
  • Background in AI model training and inference optimization

We are building advanced AI systems and the infrastructure behind them. The problems are complex, the systems are real, and the work has real impact.

Our team includes people from academia and industry, with different backgrounds and paths into software engineering. We value strong fundamentals, hands-on engineering, collaboration, and continuous learning. This is not a narrow role. You will work across multiple parts of the system, take real ownership, and be supported by teammates along the way.

What you will actually work on:

  • Designing and implementing core backend systems that power large-scale machine learning workloads
  • Writing production-grade code and taking responsibility for it in production
  • Working on performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems
  • Collaborating with researchers and engineers to turn ideas into systems that run
  • Improving tooling, infrastructure, and developer workflows

Some technical terms to give you a sense of our stack:

Python, C++, PyTorch, CUDA, Triton, Linux, containers, Kubernetes, SLURM, AWS, GCP, CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana, vLLM, distributed systems.

You are not expected to have prior experience with all of these technologies. We care more about strong fundamentals, sound judgment, and the ability to learn, than about checking every box.
